Now that we’re just 2 weeks out from the November 2018 general election, we wanted to communicate to you some important voter information.

First and foremost, we have five endorsed Log Cabin members running for office in California:

1. Paul Cummings for BART Board of Directors
2. Bonnie Dumanis running for San Diego County Supervisor
3. Henry Nickel running for State Assembly in District 40
4. Matthew Munson running for State Senate in District 20
5. Gina Roberts running for Valley Center Pauma Unified School District

We encourage you to find out more about these great individuals, and if possible, make a contribution in the final two weeks to help push their campaigns forward.

Furthermore, Log Cabin Republicans Federal PAC, which endorses in Congressional races after receiving input from local chapters, has endorsed in the following races here in California.

• Kimberlin Brown Pelzer (CA-36, Palm Springs)
• Justin Fareed (CA-24, Central Coast)
• Sean Flynn (CA-31, Riverside)

While we have many Republican allies in Congress, these three would be excellent additions to the California delegation and those who support equality and freedom for the LGBT community.

For the remainder of the California ballot, we encourage you to check your local county Republican Party for issues, and the California Republican Party for state propositions and state Republican candidates. Our very own Log Cabin member Carl DeMaio, who is also the head of the gas-tax repeal committee (Yes on 6) has a voter guide, which can be accessed here.

For judicial and local municipal races, our best go-to guide is Craig Huey's Election Forum.

This year, we've made it a priority to develop our Log Cabin California Political Action Committee (PAC). None of your chapter dues goes to candidate support - the best way to support them is to make a contribution to our PAC. Every dollar you give gets bundled on behalf of our organization to target the most important California races and support our own members than run.
